For almost 15 years imc Test & Measurement GmbH has had a reliable partner in the Indian market with the company Automotive Test Systems India (ATS).
ATS is a major service company for the Indian automotive industry. The company offers a broad portfolio of products for vehicle testing, from general test equipment to steering robots and complete chassis dynamometers. In addition, ATS provides consulting, training, calibration services, laboratory and test track design, and contract measurement services. This includes vehicle dynamics tests, NVH tests, simulations, powertrain tests and RLDA. In some cases, a test center is used for this purpose, in cooperation with Amrita University in Coimbatore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
ATS has a very high reputation in the market and has a very stable customer base, thanks to excellent service and carefully selected products that can be easily combined.
The core topics of the Indian automotive industry follow the global trends - currently the focus is on ADAS, EV powertrain and emission testing (according to BSVI standard). The recent EV.tech conference in Gurugram, at which ATS was also represented, concentrated entirely on e-mobility. But also more classical areas such as powertrain testing, durability testing and many aspects of road testing are in focus and remain central topics for Indian development engineers.
As one of the largest exhibitors at the various automotive trade fairs and events, ATS displays state-of-the-art test and measurement systems. ATS also presents its expertise with lectures and instrumented vehicles for real demonstrations.
The imc DAQ systems and solutions are part of the fixed portfolio at the conferences and trade fairs where ATS is represented. At the end of November 2019, ATS presented imc measurement systems at the NuGen Mobility Summit from on November 27-29. On January 22-24, 2020, ATS will also be represented at the Automotive Testing Expo India in Chennai, one of the largest industry trade fairs on the subcontinent.
